Sakurao Sauternes Cask Finish Lightly Peated is a Japanese whisky made by Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky pairs maturation in sweet wine casks with a restrained peat influence.
The nose is typically noted for honey, citrus, soft smoke and vanilla. The palate is balanced and layered, with orchard fruit, malt sweetness, gentle peat and oak spice, finishing elegant and lightly smoky.
