Sakurao Single Malt Sauternes Cask Finish is a Japanese single malt from the Sakurao distillery in Hiroshima. It is made from 100% malted barley and distilled twice. The whisky matured for a long period in bourbon casks, then spent 18 months in Sauternes casks, from the sweet French wine. It is a limited edition, with sweetness and fruit at its centre.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
