Togouchi Premium is a Japanese blend of malt and grain whiskies from Sakurao Distillery in the Hiroshima region. The blend contains around 10% malted barley, which brings browned and nutty notes, and it has been aged in bourbon barrels. Sakurao distils all of the malt and grain whisky used in its blends itself. The nose is bright, with walnut and grassy notes. The palate offers hazelnut, chocolate, honey and pepper, and the finish carries warm spices and nutmeg.
