Sakurao Sauternes Cask Finish Lightly Peated is a Japanese single malt from the Sakurao distillery, finished in Sauternes casks and made with a light touch of peat.
The Sauternes finish is its defining feature, adding honey and yellow fruit alongside the gentle smoke.
The nose offers ripe fruit, honey and citrus with a little smoke. The palate is soft and silky, with yellow fruit, honey, caramel and light smoke, and the finish is long, fruity and honeyed.
