This is a single malt from Sakurao Distillery, one of Japan's newer producers, and the distillery's latest release. The nose offers light citrus, sweet oak, vanilla and a gentle savoury umami note. On the palate there are poached pears and cinnamon spice, followed by lingering black pepper.
