Samuel Gelston's Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Samuel Gelston's is an Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made at a single distillery from a mixture of malted and unmalted barley, distilled together in a copper pot still. It is neither a blend nor a single malt, and is described as full of body and character. It won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2022, after a Gold there in 2021. The flavours are lemon-drizzle cake, walnut and candied pecan, cacao nibs and cereal.
