A seven year old Swiss single malt from Säntis, part of the Smoke & Peat Exploration series. It was matured in a beer cask and finished in a cognac cask, and is bottled at 50.2% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
This is one of 625 bottles drawn from a single beer cask. Säntis Malt has been made by the Locher brewery in Appenzellerland since 1999, and the story began with old wooden casks found in the family brewery's cellars.
