Sazerac 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, released each year as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The 2024 release was made from barrels filled between autumn 2004 and spring 2005, then aged for 18 years in American oak in Warehouses K, L and M.
The nose offers dried orange, rye grain, clove and aniseed. On the palate there is black pepper and vanilla alongside rich oak, and the finish is long, with floral honey and tobacco leaf.
