Sazerac 18 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey made at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky. This is the 2025 release, part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
The rye matures for 18 years in the barrel and is bottled at a moderate proof. Dried fruit, leather, oak and the spice of the rye grain are described as fully integrated.
The nose is dried fruit, vanilla, leather and gentle rye spice. The palate brings dark fruit, oak, cinnamon, black pepper and toffee. The finish is long and warming, with persistent spice and dried fruit.
