Scarabus is a small series of Islay single malts bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. This 10 year old is bottled at 46% ABV and is made from casks chosen from a single Islay distillery, which is not named.
The palate is rich and earthy, with plenty of peat smoke, leather and menthol, softened by syrup and honey. The finish is long, smooth and seductive.
