Scarabus 30 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 42.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The name comes from Old Norse, dates back to the 13th century and is best translated as 'rocky place'.
The flavour is described as powerfully full-bodied, with earth, maritime salt and smoked ham softened by hints of toffee, vanilla and citrus fruit. The finish is smooth and long, leaving a taste of Islay.
