Scarabus Batch Strength is a peated single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled undiluted at natural cask strength, 57%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has strong peat smoke, with marine and salty notes, a little citrus, vanilla, honey and spice. The palate is robust and oily, with smoke, black pepper, dark caramel, sweet malt and a little ripe fruit. The long finish is warm, with peat, toasted oak and a touch of spice.
