Scarabus Sherry Cask Edition is an Islay single malt with a powerful, smoky character and a strong influence from sherry casks.
The nose opens with peat smoke, dark raisins and dried fruit, along with caramel, figs and a hint of chocolate, over a salty freshness. On the palate the smoke is strong but balanced by sweet sherry, with dark berries, spicy oak and a touch of espresso. The finish is long and warming, bringing together smoke, spices and light sweetness.
