Scarabus Specially Selected is an Islay single malt from Hunter Laing, described as a classic of the island's style.
The nose brings sea salt, green apples and wood smoke. The palate opens with warming leather and a slight prickle on the tongue, moving to stewed rhubarb and a sweetness of vanilla and ash-toffee. The finish is long and peaty, lightly sweet, with a touch of charred wood.
