Scottish Leader Supreme 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Burn Stewart Distillers, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made with a higher proportion of Highland and Speyside malts and matured in American oak.
The nose offers creamy toffee, sponge cake, stewed apple, date and gingerbread, with sweet sherry notes, vanilla marshmallow and nutmeg. The palate is thick and slightly syrupy, with stewed soft fruits such as apricot, plum and red berries, alongside sticky toffee pudding and brandy-soaked fruit.
The finish is long, fruity and gently spiced, fading cleanly with oak and citrus zest.
