Se Busca Mezcal Añejo

Se Busca Añejo is an aged mezcal made from 100% Agave Angustifolia Espadin in San Juan del Rio, a small town in Oaxaca, Mexico. Maestros mezcaleros Rodolfo and Mary Lopez Sosa make it by hand, balancing rich cooked agave with mesquite and a hint of gunpowder. The name means 'wanted' in Spanish and honours the women of the Mexican Revolution, known as Adelitas and Soldaderas. The palate is vigorous, with sweet oak, dates and raisins, then green vegetables and spicy cooked agave, leading to a long, textured finish.
