Se Busca Mezcal Joven Artesanal

Se Busca Joven is an artisanal young mezcal made from 100% Agave Angustifolia Espadin in San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca. It is produced at a distillery owned by a family that has overseen traditional production for generations, and the mezcaleros Rodolfo and Mary Lopez Sosa shaped it around cooked agave, gunpowder and mesquite. The name means 'wanted' in Spanish and pays tribute to the women of the Mexican Revolution. On the nose it is cooked agave and mesquite. The palate brings nuts, fruit and green vegetables, leading to a sweet, weighty finish with a mellow spicy kick.
