Seagram's 83 (175cl, 40%)

Seagram's 83 is a Canadian whisky in a 1.75 litre bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It was created as a tribute to Joseph Seagram's Original Rye, first produced at the Waterloo distillery in 1883. It is a light-bodied whisky, with maple and vanilla sweetness alongside delicate fruit, a little grain character, gentle spice and seasoned oak. The nose is soft, with maple, vanilla, light fruit and seasoned oak. The palate brings maple sweetness and vanilla with mild spice, and the finish is clean and slightly dry, with vanilla, oak and a touch of sherry-like sweetness.
