Seagram's V.O. is a blended Canadian whisky aged for a minimum of six years in oak, bottled at 40% in a 200ml bottle. It is made at the Valleyfield distillery in Quebec.
The blend began as Joseph E. Seagram's personal family blend, and V.O. stands for "Very Own". Corn, barley and rye whiskies are aged separately in oak for at least six years before blending.
The nose has gentle caramel, light oak, dried apricot and hazelnut. The palate is medium-bodied, with honey, caramel and rye spice building to lemon curd, coffee and soft oak. The finish is dry and moderate, with delicate floral notes.
