Seagram's VO is a blended Canadian whisky, bottled at 40% in a 375ml bottle. It is made at the Valleyfield Distillery in Quebec, where the master blender works from a large library of base and flavouring whiskies, with extensive use of refill casks rather than new oak.
The VO name dates back to 1913, when Joseph E. Seagram first blended it as a private reserve.
The nose is light caramel corn, biscuit and cinnamon sugar. The palate is soft and slightly sweet, with pear, caramel and vanilla, and the finish is moderate, with butter and light vanilla.
