Seagram's VO Gold is an eight-year-old blended Canadian whisky, bottled at 40% in a large 1.75 litre bottle. It is made at the Valleyfield distillery in Quebec.
The blend contains whiskies aged for a minimum of eight years, with the casks hand-selected by the Master Blender.
The nose opens with caramel and dry corn, then rye, with sweet autumn fruit and a thread of cinnamon. The palate is mellow and grain-sweet, with white peach, pear, nougat and mild citrus. The finish is warm, sweet and medium in length, with caramel and rye spice.
