Seagram's VO is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a large 1.75 litre bottle. It is made at the Valleyfield Distillery in Quebec.
Corn, barley and rye whiskies are distilled and matured separately in oak for a minimum of six years. They are then married from more than fifty individual whiskies.
Soft vanilla and caramel lead the nose, with light toffee, a gentle grain sweetness and a buttery note. The palate is smooth and medium-light, with caramel and ripe pear, then light brown spice and oak. The finish is clean, with lingering sweetness giving way to mild dry spice.
