Seagram's V.O. (1L, 40%)

Seagram's V.O. is a Canadian blended whisky, first created in 1913 to mark the marriage of Thomas Seagram. Today's version is produced in Quebec and bottled at 40% ABV, here in a one-litre bottle. It is a light, smooth whisky that combines soft fruit and floral character with vanilla, dried apricot, hazelnut and gentle sweet spice, with restrained oak behind them. The nose is soft, with dried apricot, vanilla, hazelnut and light floral notes. The palate is gently sweet, with vanilla, ripe fruit, mild spice and a nutty note. The finish is clean and fairly dry, with floral notes, vanilla and light oak.
