Secret Islay 10 Year Old is a single cask Islay single malt bottled by The Whisky Agency in collaboration with Delias Whiskyshop for the Delias Christmas Series 2024. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 at a cask strength of 51.2%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent ten years in a Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings dried fruit, dark chocolate, a little spice and a subtle maritime note. On the palate the sweetness of the PX sherry meets a smoky character, and the finish is long and warming.
