A 10 year old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery, bottled by North Star Spirits for their Obscurities & Curiosities series.
The spirit was distilled in 2016 and matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead until it was bottled in 2026 at 65% ABV, at natural cask strength. The smaller cask has worked quickly on the whisky.
It is described as classic Speyside fruit wrapped in rich, pudding-like sherry, sweet and fragrant.
