Service to America Salute Law Dogs K-9 Flash Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 49.3%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heritage Distilling, bottled in a keepsake bottle as the Law Dogs edition of the Service to America Salute series. It honours America's police K-9s and is named after K-9 Flash, a narcotics detection dog from Yakima, Washington. The bourbon is five years old and was mashed, fermented, distilled and aged in Kentucky from a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% barley. It is bottled at 49.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle and has a burnished copper colour. The nose is apricot, walnut and palm sugar. The palate brings fresh thyme, lemon pith, early-season blackberry and raw cinnamon husk.
