Shimizu No Mai Pure Snow Junmai Nigori (15.5%)

Pure Snow is a Junmai nigori, or cloudy sake, from the Shimizu-No-Mai Pure Series. It is unfiltered, which keeps the essence of the rice, and is made from Miyamanishiki and Menkoina rice. The strength is 15.5%. The aroma is melon with cucumber and a hint of pear. The flavour is powerful, with a distinctive texture and notes of ginger, Asian pear and cantaloupe. It finishes smooth, from soft-sweet to dry. Serve it chilled as an aperitif, or with meats and spicy food. Shake the bottle before pouring.
