Shinobu 10 Year Old Pure Malt Whisky (75cl)

Shinobu 10 Year Old is a Japanese malt whisky with an age statement of ten years, sold in a 75cl bottle. Most of its time was spent in bourbon and sherry casks, after which it was moved into Japanese Mizunara oak for a finish that adds earthy, woody notes. The nose combines fresh wood, a touch of vanilla and flowers, with a breath of nectar. On the palate come maltose, a little citrus fruit, Mizunara oak and coffee beans, leading to a medium, woody finish that returns to sweet maltose.
