A blended Japanese whisky from Shinobu Distillery in Niigata, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is a no-age-statement blend of half malt and half grain whisky, selected from several distilleries.
The whisky is rested in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is buttery, with coconut candy, mint, grass and wood. The palate is smooth and slightly oily, with incense, butter and vanilla, and the finish brings sandalwood and vanilla.
