A Texas bourbon from Shire Oak, aged for two years in French oak and bottled at a cask strength of 61.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.
The nose is full and round, with oak, roasted nuts and honey. The palate is firm oak with espresso, spice and mocha chocolate, plus pine nuts and nuts roasted in honey, and smooth, rounded tannins. The finish is long and strong, with rounded oak, spiced wild honey and nuts.
