A Texas bourbon from Shire Oak, aged for two years in French oak and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. The nose combines oak with toasted nuts and honey. On the palate are toasted oak and coffee, spices, mocha chocolate, and nuts and pine nuts roasted in honey. The finish is rounded oak with spiced honey.
