Shizuoka Pot Still K Imported Barley 1st Edition is a Japanese single malt made at the Shizuoka distillery, which was founded in 2016 by Taiko Nakamura. It is bottled at 55.5% ABV.
The barley is 100% imported Scottish. Distillation takes place in Pot Still K, a steam-heated still built in Japan in the 1950s, and the whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is described as light and fruity, with a subtle smokiness.
