Contact S is the third single malt release from Shizuoka Distillery. It is made from whisky produced in the distillery's ex-Karuizawa still together with whisky from its wood-fired pot still.
The spirit was matured for three years in first-fill bourbon barrels and quarter casks.
On the nose there is mango, sliced apples and caramel. The palate brings fresh pastry, dark chocolate and candied peels.
