Shizuoka Pot Still W Imported Barley 2024 Edition is a Japanese single malt bottled at 55% in a 50cl bottle. It was distilled in a wood-fired pot still, the Pot Still W, using 100% imported barley, and matured for more than three years in bourbon casks.
The nose is subtle, with light peat smoke, delicate fruit, citrus and toasted oak. On the palate it is soft, with fruit, a little smoke and a silky texture, citrus and oak in balance. The finish is lasting and fresh, with cherry blossom and a subtle woody touch.
