Signal Hill Canadian Whisky is a blend of Canadian corn and barley whiskies, mixed with Newfoundland water in St. John's. The corn whisky is double distilled in a two-column still, while the barley whisky is pot distilled.
It is matured in new white oak, first-run bourbon and Canadian whisky casks, then bottled at 40% and non-chill filtered.
The nose is delicate, with honey, vanilla, raisins and dried plums. The palate is rich and rounded, with a cream sherry-like dried fruit character, English toffee, vanilla and soft oak. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, toffee and dried fruit.
