Signatory Vintage Ben Nevis 7 Year Old (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a seven-year-old Ben Nevis, a Highland single malt bottled by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a carefully selected cask and is bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, without chill-filtering or added colouring. The nose opens with green apple, lemon peel and malt, followed by vanilla, biscuit and a light mineral note. The palate is full and malty, with citrus, pear, honey, caramel and a little pepper. The finish is long and warming, with malt, citrus and soft spice, ending dry and lightly woody.
