This is a 10 year old Clynelish, a Highland single malt bottled independently by Signatory Vintage at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
Clynelish is known for lightly salty, waxy notes alongside a subtle fruitiness, and that is the character here.
The nose is fresh, with honey, light citrus and green apple, beeswax, a touch of sea salt and a hint of vanilla. The palate is soft and creamy, with sweet fruit, malt and delicate spice over a light salty note. The finish is medium to long and clean, with beeswax, light honey and a refreshing saltiness.
