Signatory Vintage Craigellachie 7 Year Old 2014 Very Cloudy (70cl, 40%)

This is a seven-year-old Speyside single malt from Craigellachie, bottled by Signatory Vintage in its Very Cloudy range. Like the Un-Chillfiltered Collection, the range is drawn from small batches of two to five casks. The whisky is reduced to 40% without cold filtration or colouring, which gives it a slightly cloudy appearance. Craigellachie was founded in 1890 and renovated in 1964, and is known for a fruity, cereal style of malt. The nose combines baked apples, malted barley and bourbon vanilla, with a hint of exotic fruits.
