This is a 16 year old Glenlivet single malt from the independent bottler Signatory Vintage, in a 70cl bottle. Signatory was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington, and its bottling facility stands next to Edradour distillery.
The whisky was distilled in August 2006 and matured for 16 years in a single first-fill ex-sherry butt. Glenlivet, in Banffshire, is described as the oldest licensed distillery in Scotland, and George Smith secured his licence to distil there in 1824.
