Sild Single Malt Oktoberfest Edition 2025 is a German single malt made at the Lantenhammer distillery in Hausham, Bavaria, in collaboration with Paulaner. It matured first in selected oak casks, then spent six months in ten 50-litre casks that had previously held Paulaner Salvator Doppelbock for six months. The edition runs to 1,500 70cl bottles at 40%, without chill-filtering or added colour. The label shows Munich Oktoberfest motifs. The nose offers malt, ripe grain and honey with gentle hops, a hint of caramel and fresh fruit. The palate is soft and full, with sponge cake, honey, dark fruit and charred oak, set against light hop bitterness. The finish is long, spicy and malty, with fine oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
