Silkie Red Pomerol Finish is a non-chill-filtered blended Irish whiskey bottled at 46%. This limited edition is finished in ex-Pomerol wine casks from Chateau Clos L'eglise in Bordeaux, chosen to explore the Silkie flavour profile through the richness and floral character of Pomerol. The colour runs from rosé gold to amber, with a hint of glitter. The nose is intense and layered, with tarte tatin, candied orange peel, a touch of liquorice and violet. The palate is smooth, rich and soft, with raspberries, dried orange, baked apple, pipe tobacco, raisins in butter and muscovado, along with some saltiness and rich tannins. The finish is rich, sweet, salty and ashy, with red berries.
