Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Still Cask Strength Ruby Port Cask (70cl, 58.7%)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Skellig Six18 Distillery in the south-west of Ireland, bottled from a single cask at a cask strength of 58.7%. It comes in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour. The whiskey spent six years in ex-bourbon casks before a finish in a Ruby port cask. Just 400 bottles were filled. The nose offers sweet woodland fruits, vanilla and fine notes of nut and grain. On the palate come toasted wood, plum, vanilla, honey and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with honey and spicy accents.
