Slane Irish Whiskey comes from County Meath in Ireland and is bottled at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is built on a Triple Casked process, in which the whiskey is aged in three kinds of cask.
Virgin and seasoned casks, raised by hand at the Brown-Forman cooperages, are joined by Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. The aged whiskeys are then blended together. Complex and smooth qualities are said to come from this combination of casks.
