Slipknot Iowa Whiskey is a collaboration between the rock band Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery in Iowa. It is made with regional grains, matured in oak casks and bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
The nose is sweet vanilla and caramel with a peppery spice. The palate is full-bodied and richly sweet, with spicy herbs and a fine note of wood. The finish is long and warming, with peppery bite and a soft oak echo.
