Slyrs – 2019/2026 Single Malt Amarone Single Cask Finish #AM23/02 (70cl, 53.2%)

This is a German single malt from the Slyrs distillery at Schliersee, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2026 at 53.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is a single cask release, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The whisky matured for four years in American white oak, then spent three years finishing in an Amarone cask. It is made from malted barley and Bavarian mountain water. The nose is fruity, with apple, green hazelnuts and a touch of vanilla. The palate is robust, spicy and fiery, and the finish is lightly salty and long.
