This is a 12 year old Smögen single malt in the 100 Proof style, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 at 57.1% ABV. It comes in a 50cl bottle and was matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is salty and smoky, with dried fruit, nuts, campfire, pepper, caramel and oysters. Oloroso sometimes leads with nuts and dried fruit, and at other times the maritime notes come forward.
On the palate it is peppery and salty, with nutmeg, Serrano ham, dates, walnuts, campfire and earthy peat. The finish is long and peppery, turning a little bitter from wood and salt.
