Smögen 2014/2026 is a 12-year-old Swedish single malt made from heavily peated barley, bottled at 57.1% in a 50cl bottle. It was distilled in winter 2014, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and bottled in March 2026. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is dense peat smoke with nuts, fruit, a light vanilla sweetness and a touch of oak. On the palate, strong smoke and spice meet sweet nuttiness and mild caramel, full-bodied and balanced. The finish is long, smoky and dry, with bitter herbs and a mineral note.
