An 8 year old single malt from Smogen in a 50cl bottle, made with heavily peated Optic barley. It is the second edition of this vatting.
The whisky is a vatting of seven first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and one ex-sherry hogshead. The casks were filled in spring 2012 and the whisky was bottled in October 2020.
Smogen is associated with wave-lashed granite, high winds and fresh air, and this bottling is meant to reflect that, with purity of character at high density.
