This is a single cask Smögen from Sweden, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021 at 9 years old. It matured in white oak cask 59/2011 and was bottled at 60% ABV in a 50cl bottle. A total of 911 bottles were released in spring 2021.
The malt is very heavily peated, with 96.9 ppm phenols. The fresh oak, with its vanilla and almond notes, is overshadowed by the malty, very peaty spirit.
