This is the sixth single cask release from Swedish distillery Smogen, bottled in 2019 at 62.4% in a 50cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2011, first aged in American white oak and then finished in a rum cask.
It is distinctly peaty with slight charred notes, though the rum cask finish brings sweetness. Expect rich vanilla, raisin ice cream, new leather and chocolate wafers.
